Parenting and its Perks

We don’t get these revelations very often and, being a single mom, I don’t even have my son’s dad to share experiences, questions and doubts. Today I complete my 24th year sober. In this day, 24 years ago, when I was just 21 years old, I entered an Alcoholics Anonymous room and said that I was not going to drink that day, promising to come back the next day. ‘Just for today’.
