Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney

Lazy river

Our next day was a ‘rest’ day, after such intense three days. Ian decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and we had a very leisure day there. Nothing spectacular as I was expecting and very bland attractions compared to the water park in Montreal we visited last year. The warm lazy river was probably my favorite, as the day was not as warm as I would like it to be. Lazy river

But the sensation of the day was to swim with sharks and rays in a salty water pool. Ian simply loved it! A bit scared at the beginning, he quickly overcome the fear and we ended up going four times.

We finished the day in Downtown Disney area. The shopping is amazing there and we spent quite a bit of time on them, including the Lego store and a dinosaur store were Ian got his T-Rex named Ricardo after his dad. We had dinner at Planet Hollywood and used our $15 voucher – very well-spent, I must say.

It was quite cold that night and those long days were tiring us. But we still had one park to visit: Animal Planet. And, for this one, we decided to wake up very early and use the ‘magic hours’ offered by Disney – but this is just valid if you are staying in one of their resorts.

Here is where I will explore life itself. Think of it as a patchwork of stories, experiences, and reflections—unpredictable, just like life.

There won’t be a strict order of topics, dates, or categories; instead, expect a spontaneous mix of thoughts and moments.
