Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney

Our next day was a ‘rest’ day, after such intense three days. Ian decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and we had a very leisure day there. Nothing spectacular as I was expecting and very bland attractions compared to the water park in Montreal we visited last year. The warm lazy river was probably my favorite, as the day was not as warm as I would like it to be.

Hollywood Studios

My son was excited to visit this park because of Star Wars – or should I say Star Tours? Anyway, Star Tours was probably one of my favorite attractions of all Disney Parks! We had time to go twice and found out that the tour was different… C-3PO guided us through a fantastic flight over some galaxy, in 3-D. So cool.

Epcot

Epcot

As we had ‘studied’ the parks, we knew Epcot didn’t offer more than a few attractions that we wanted to go. The World Showcase was definitely not interesting for Ian nor for me, so I was not worried about it and we needed some zzzz’s, so we decided to sleep as much as we wanted to on the second day, have breakfast at the hotel and go to Epcot.

Magic Kingdom

There is a reason for having the word ‘magic’ in the title of this park… It is the biggest of the four Disney World’s parks and the one that offers some of the best rides. We spent our first day at Magic Kingdom, a total of 9 or 10 hours there and went back for a ride on Saturday, because it was closed the first day. It is always packed and the lines were insane on the weekend, which is a bit overwhelming for me.
