Little helping hands…

About a year ago, when my son was almost two years old, he started helping me in the kitchen. Celeiro’s carrot cake is our favorite dish to cook together: he can crack eggs, pour ingredients to the batter, mix the batter with the mixer etc. Slowly, I can show him the importance of good food and how he can take care of himself. And we have loads of fun…

Another good recipe we cook together: hummus. Take a cup of chickpeas and cook them. Place it with just 1/4 cup of the water you used to cook in the food processor with 1 tbsp tahine (sesame seed paste), salt, pepper, 1 garlic clove, olive oil (half cup), juice of one lemon, and sneak some legumes and vegetables (I like to use spinach, carrot, squash and sweet potatoes – any thing you might have should work. I added corn and peas before.). Blend them together until reaches the consistency of a dip. You can eat it as a dip or on top of crackers and bread. My son likes it sooo much that he eats it with a spoon!

Random thoughts on life

Here is where I will explore life itself. Think of it as a patchwork of stories, experiences, and reflections—unpredictable, just like life.

There won’t be a strict order of topics, dates, or categories; instead, expect a spontaneous mix of thoughts and moments.

Grab a cup of coffee, tea or your favourite beverage and let’s get acquainted!
